QUICK BELL PEPPER PASTA

Well, my significant other does not like bell peppers. He says they are hard to digest. So he usually has bell peppers only when he had a drink too many and he does not recognize them anymore.

I like them very much and I just had a basic recipe:

For one serving
1 small bell pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
A pinch of salt
A pinch of cayenne
80 g / 3 ounces pasta

How to do it:
Have your water boiling and cook pasta according to package instructions.
Wash and deseed the bell pepper. Cut it into thin stripes. Put it in a bowl and microwave it for 3 minutes.
Put a frying pan on high heat. Pour the olive oil, add the bell pepper, salt and cayenne. Stir-fry for a couple of minutes.
Drain pasta, dress it with the bell pepper, add olive oil or cheese to taste.


Optional: You could add garlic if you like the taste before the bell pepper in the pan. Or you could add 5 cherry tomatoes cut in half and let them barely warm up after you have stir-fried the bell pepper. Or perhaps a sprig or two of chives or a basil leaf would be nice.
